Day 1: Kruger National Park
On arrival just outside Kruger you will be met and transferred to the safari lodge situated in the national park: Rhino Walking Safaris.
Day 2 and 3: Classic Safari
The first two days you will experience classic game drive safari. Wake up early for the morning game drive when sun is rising. At this time of the day the chances are good of spotting animals. The area is noted as an excellent game viewing area with encounters of the Big Five and good sightings can be expected. After the morning safari awaits a healthy and scrumptious brunch at the lodge followed by relaxation by the pool or in your suite. “High Tea” in the afternoon followed by another exciting game drive with sundowners. Dinner at the lodge under the African starry sky.
Day 4 and 5: Walking Safari
Discover nature’s hidden wonders in specially tailored walking trails. You will be accommodated in luxury safari tents. Highly qualified guides will share their knowledge of the bush, from the identification of animals, trees, grasses and birds to the medical uses of plants and basic tracking and survival skills. For a truly unique experience spend a night outdoors under the stars!
Day 6: Hazyview
After your last morning safari you will be transferred to the village of Hazyview right outside the park. We suggest that you spend a day with a guide to explore the Panorama Route with scenic landmarks such as God’s Window, Three Rondawels and the magnificent Blyde River Canyon. Visit the historical goldrush town of Pilgrim’s Rest which offers the visitor a fascinating window into the past, and captures the spirit of a bygone era and its people in their quest for gold.
Day 7: Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight to Johannesburg and onwards to your final destination. You can also extend your holiday with a visit to Cape Town or KwaZulu Natal.
